4 Pop-Punk Guitar Riffs to Learn This Weekend

Pop punk wouldn't be the same without these classic guitar riffs. Punk tunes have caused so many air guitar jams and power-chord basement rock-outs that if you had a dollar for every one, you would rule the world...

For many guitar players of the 1980's thru 1990's and even early 2000's it was the introduction to pop punk guitar playing that got them started playing guitar. It's not the most advanced kinds of riffs to play, but you just had to learn them, because they were super catchy and relatively easy to play for any beginner guitarist. And, a lot more fun than "Happy Birthday," or "Twinkle-Twinkle."

That means these riffs in this style deserve honorable mention for the influence they have had (over decades) on aspiring guitar players all around the globe.
